Giddy-Up #Bugaboo

Penny's challenge this week has us using #Bugaboo stamps.  The sentiments that came with the stamp are "howdy" or "giddy-up"
I loved coloring this with my prisma pencils.

Giddy- up stamp with lasso clip-art I added.

My next door neighbor just had a little boy and I delivered it with a huge box of diapers.

Groovin' on a Sunday afternoon

This image from Oddball art just spoke to me.  I have such great memories of traveling with my family growing up.  Putting stickers on the back of our travel trailer and hitting the National Parks.

So I added a road from Cricut and enjoyed coloring the image.  Put it on a bunch of 70's type flower card.  This was just fun!

Gallbladder Problems

My friend, Mike, was in the hospital for a week before they finally discovered the problem was his gallbladder.  They removed it and he's good to go.  I made a card for him to make him smile a little.

This is a favorite die cut and stamp set from Close To My Heart called School Years.  I don't care so much about the school theme as much as I just love that there is a little boy with the group that I can use for male cards.

This Card is Cricut Print and Cut Word Bubble and Star, CTMH - School Years, Fancy Pants Paper,  #BradandEyletOutlet brads.

I'm entering this card in

As part of this same set, I made this card for Mike's wife, to encourage her when they didn't know what was wrong.  We've been girlfriends for 20 years.   Rare to have friends that long when you move around in the military like we did.

Image result for heart
This is my card:

Cricut water cuts from Wild Card -Grass
and the Water from Disney Princess
Eyelet Outlet for the ladybug and flower brads

I loved this image because of my Summer memories in Texas, tubin' down the Guadalupe river.  Youth group activities and family fun at the river are a huge part of my own teenage memories and then I passed those down to my own kids as well.  Plus, this little lady is not a skinny mini.  She is one of the Busty Ladies in the Paper Creator series.

Thanks for looking!

I cut extra flowers and added them to the design.  The sun, clouds and 3 of the flowers are brads from #Eylet Outlet the sequins are from there as well.

Bitten By The Bug has a Sweet challenge and with a little sweet tea in a tea cup.

The doilies are from Cricut Cartridge Anna's Elegant Embellishments, the leaves are from Walk In My Garden.  The tea cup set was the March Stamp Set of the Month from Close To My Heart.  The spoon is a brad from Brads and Eyelets, the glitter brads are from Bo-Bunny.

Bicycling into Spring

I love my bicycle.  I really began to love riding in Italy.  Everyone rode their bikes there, the streets were set-up for safe riding.

I haven't been able to ride as much here in America.  The streets are just not safe for riding here and our cities are so spread out.  It hasn't changed my love for riding though. And my first thought of Spring, is riding my bike again!

I used the main bicycle image from Summer Celebrations Cricut cartridge and then cut pieces from another bicycle from Independence Day.

The flowers in the basket are Paisley Flowers from Holiday Cakes Cartridge and Walk In My Garden.

The background embossing is Darice embossing folder, Grass Silhouette.

I added the ribbons to mirror the ribbons on the bicycle, but I'm not sure I like them.  I think I prefer it without them.
I also added sequins and brads to some of the flower centers and 3 white brads for decor above the bike.

I miss many things about Italy, but riding my bike everywhere is one of the biggest things I miss.

PLEASE join us in our SPRING challenge at Fantabulous CricutChallenge #299-SpringMake a project about Spring.

This is my second shaker card, and I like making them, but they are not easy and they take a lot of material. This shaker card is a pedestal card.

This cut from Spring and Summer Tablescapes,

I cut 4 times for depth and
4 circles just an 1/8 of an inch wider for the backing.  Used the negative for the shaker example and the actual cut for the pedestal holder.

I used this glittery brads from BoBunny on this Fancy Pants Easter paper.  I had a small pack of these white pom-poms that I added to the tail.  A package of sequins created the interior of the shaker card.

The second part of this is the cut I used from Dreaming Tree called the Gerbera Daisy SVG cut.  I love it.  I'm going to add another post about it, but here is the picture.  Dreaming Tree has been a great sponsor of Fantabulous Cricut and has many free cuts, such as this votive daisy for use.  Give them a look - Dreaming Tree

Card for a Child

Today I made a couple of these robots for my two grandsons in another state.  It was a super cute cut and easy to make and I know he's going to love pulling it out of the envelope and watching it spring to life.

This robot is a customized Cricut cut from Cricut Access that I made on my explore.  I added a comb to the top of his head for hair. I have eyeball brads that I used for his eyes.

There are about 8 brads associated with this project. Since, I am giving it to a kid I cut the project twice and layered it to the brads so they were not exposed on the back.  This was a project of love so I had a lot of fun!

Folds flat into an envelope and springs open when you pull it out.

Gerbera Daisy Votive Light Up

I love these Daisy SVG cuts I found for FREE on Dreaming Tree.  Right away I made 2, then I made more to give away to friends.  Leaving a little flower light on people's desk made me so happy!  It was simple to make and even more fun to give as an RAK!

I've included the video from the Dreaming Tree site, but go there and look at all his wonderful stuff.  He has several free products to try too.  He has sponsored gift certificates on Fantabulous Cricut and that's how I know about his great stuff!

Aren't these daisies adorable?   #DreamingTree  And it's mixed media so I'm playing along at Artiste Mixed Media
I'm going to pop a couple into my easter basket decoration!  The twinkling light is so attractive and there were so many colors I made after I did this project. I went crazy making them!  They looked so beautiful altogether and I forgot to take a picture before I gave them away.  I was so excited!
Go to DREAMING TREE and have a look!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

O' thee greenin' O' thee country.......

A regular Hershey Bar wrapped in scrapbook paper and a leprechaun added to the front.
I used the following measurements to create the wrapper and use as dimensions for the face and hat.

Below is a screenshot to show that except for the moustache and shamrock, the leprechaun is all basic shapes.  Three ovals to make the beard, squares and rectangles for the hat, ovals for the face, circles for the nose.

I used a cricut folder to emboss the hat and a little bit of stickles on the shamrock.

This was so e
asy to do and I enjoyed doing the paper piecing.

Now, I'm off to create more of them to give away at work.
